ANNOUNCED (Q27). Asks whether the household has access to the internet and through what device (laptop/computer, mobile, other device, or none, per guide sites). CHANGE vs 2011: internet was then only a sub-option of the computer/laptop question ('with/without internet'); in 2027 it is a standalone item, reflecting mobile-first internet adoption. This is the first Indian census to measure household internet access independently of computer ownership.
